Client Goal:
The homeowner aimed to improve fire safety by removing flammable vegetation near the house while creating a visually appealing screen for utility elements, such as garbage bins and a water meter.
Scope of Work:
Silverback Exterior Services transformed an existing planter into a durable, low-maintenance, and functional design feature.
Work Performed:
- Excavated and prepped the area for structural reinforcement.
- Installed a reinforced concrete footing with rebar.
- Leveled and stabilized the base to accommodate three large ceramic planter pots.
- Backfilled the area with compacted material for long-term stability.
- Added a drainage layer of gravel.
- Finished with large decorative river rock for a clean, natural look.
Final Design Features:
- Three oversized ceramic pots secured on a reinforced footing.
- Decorative metal floral installations inside each pot.
